We are looking to put in a pool, and I have a bunch of questions, because we have never had a pool before, and all the pool people give you their ideas about what is best, but they all give different opinions, so it's a bit confusing. My first question is about chlorinators.
1. Most people recommend salt water chlorinators, but I have heard about ionic purifiers, which sound very good, but then if they are that good, why don't the pool people even mention them, let alone recommend them? Does anyone know anything about them? pros/cons
2. One pool person has mentioned a water balancing system. SOunds great. It is more expensive than a standard chlorinator, but he reckons that over time it will pay for itself in less electricity usage and less chemical/salt usage as well. Any experience/opinions?
Thanks
