Bloody mutts keep stealing all the ripe tomatoes from the veggie garden....
Anyone else have a dog that does the same?

Nope. But we used to have a dog very fond of raspberries. He would use his lips to remove the fruit from the haulm and then dribble raspberry juice down his labrador face. Quite cute if you don't mind sharing the raspberries.

Mine used to eat all the sweet corn
Would come home from work & find the whole plant in the middle of the back lawn with husks all over the place

I had a lab years ago that used to do that, she never touched them until they turned red and then they were gone lol.

My Cavalier King Charles took a shine to the new peach tree I had in a pot.....the first six peaches I was waiting for the dog got and ate.

Friend of ours had a German Shepherd that ate the lemons from the tree, made it's eyes squint and water and it never seemed to enjoy the experience from it's facial expression.

Yeh they're funny little critters hey.
I'm not too bothered as most of the tomatoes are being attacked by some insect anyway.
The veggie gardens have taken a backseat at the moment due to other projects, but when we start growing things more seriously again, I'll have to fence it off I think.

It started with our older dog getting in to them and we've recently taken a stray in, and she's picked up a lot of bad habits from the old fella....

It's the one on the left - I've seen that type of tomato eating DOOOG before!:D

It's both of them.
The one on the right is our older dog.
He developed a taste for the t'matas last year and has taught little missy on the left where the good stuff is.

She just came in earlier and gave me a big tomato-scented kiss
