I bought this house in January. The garden looked good - not tidy but alive and green. One of the key selling points was that it had everything in place - air con, insulation, retic.............. but I soon found the retic has no pressure. The lawn is only 2 metres by 4. I have only enough water pressure to pop up one sprinkler!!:~ The garden beds are even worse. I have taken away the spray and put drippers onto each plant, but if I open more than 5 drippers there isnt enough water pressure to make them work.
The pipes to the drippers were 40mm but I have replaced with 19mm poly pipe. I have found all the solenoids and they seem to be wired correctly.
How do i check if they are not opening properly?:?
My water metre is in the front houses garden (the block was sub-divided into front and back block) and is fully open.

Are you getting good pressure in the house taps?

I assume that 40mm is a typo and it should read 4mm.

If you have water pressure at the source, then you have a blockage and you will need to follow the flow path to find it. Do you have a filter fitted to the tap?

Most solenoids have the water flowing into and then upwards through a small opening before deviating back down and out. Blockages occur. The Irritrol Ultra Flow solenoids have a straight through flow path and are the only ones I recommend. If you look at the doc that I have linked, it will give you an understanding of the Ultra Series flow path as opposed to the norm.
