texture painting

I painted a wall with criss cross brush texturing using dulux pearl effect paint. Some areas I can see the paint was too thick on the roller on the first coat and I can see the roller marks and also some areas are too thin. Is it ok to touch up over this kind of painting? I don't want to do it until I know for sure as I would rather leave the flaws than wreck what I have done and have to redo entire wall. Thanks
