Hi all,
we have new render inside a house. All corners have been done with steel angles built into the render. However the very corner of each angle, round in shape, is not covered by the render and stays exposed. The angles are galvanised, but when the walls were sanded after rendering, the galv may have gone at some spots. How do I go about painting? Will acrylic paint stick to metal? Or will it rust underneath? Apply metal primer first, then acrylic? It's big job as we happen to have lots of columns with those angles (about 50 corners to paint). I've tried some metal primers and I don't like the fact that they can be removed easily when dry. I can scratch it off with my nail. Whereas the 3 in 1 acrylic primer from Dulux seems to stick much better.
