hi all.

Where do you have the power pionts to supply power to the range hood please. Personally I dont want to be able to see the power cord or power piont leading to the exhaust fan. Hubby doesnt see an issue. If it is on the outside of the funnel, that means that a hole has to be cut into the funnel to allow access to the pump. doesn"t it???

Looking forward to your quick responses :o

G'day,

What sort of rangehood is it, canopy, slide out, undermount? You can have a plug batten holder in the roof for canopys as the cords are usually longer and the unit is mounted higher the lead just goes up inside the flue. Slide out ones need it in the cabinet, a power point on the back of the cabinet and a small check out in the flue box to allow the plug to poke thru and into the power point.

If under cupboard above then inside that cupboard, if it is a canopy type with a flue then it should be above the canopy, centrally, so that the stainless steel flue cover will cover it.

thanks guys, it appears that there is not enough room between the foil (looking) shute, and the cover to put it in there, and we understand that the power piont has to be accessable, and if behind the cover which is bolted onto the wall that would make it innaccesable. oh it is a ranghood cover with the exhaust going up and out of the rood directly above it.

thanks, oh and happy new year
