Any special regulations for Garage to House doors in Victoria

Hi Guys

Are there any specific requirements for a door connecting a Garage to a house in Victoria. I'm thinking here of fire regulations. My garage is built as part of the house and there is a doorway into the laundry. Do I need a special type of door ?

G'day,

We just worked in a house in your area off North road, and i know the external doors had to be fire rated, but the garage access door was just a hollow core door. There was all sorts of carry on when the builder found out about the problem. Required a whole new jamb and door to be installed at the front, the side entry only need the door and seals as it was aluminum framed.

If it were my place i'd at least get a solid door with a decent lock set on it.
