I have finished demolishing the old infill slabs and considering the next steps of the project to get the concreting done. Under the house is where the next phase on my renovation where I will be adding rumpus/poolroom, second bathroom new laundry, home theatre, study/5th bedroom.

I need to solve the termite problem next and open to suggestions to talk turkey to the pest control people. I have single layer of brickwork with no DPC (will use the inject stuff) with engaged piers. It leaves me with a couple of options can you retrofit brickwork with termimesh say parging into the old brickwork to the new slab?
Or do I create a intermittent cavity between the strip footings I have and the new slab but this means the engaged piers will touch the new slab and I was considering filling the cavity with granite guard. Or do I have to install an inground system around the perimeter of the old part given there is backfill up against one of the walls about 1m.

I would have thought maybe a inground system before the slab may work too? Any ideas are much appreciated.

With termimesh, they would parge (glue) a mesh to the existing brickwork, around the perimeter before the slab is layed, and also protect any internal penetrations with a collar at the same time. All can be done retrospectively, but PITA.
The slab itself acts as a barrier, once in place (assuming compliance to AS).
Can't comment on other systems.

Just confirming termimonster, you can parge glue the termimesh on the inside perimeter before the slab is layed, As you can see in the photo, I need to try and solve the termite solution from the inside of the building where a new infill slab will butt up to the old strip footings and walls erected with the creation of a cavity between the new stud work on the new infill slab and the existing brickwork on strip footings. The new slab height will be 50mm higher than the strip footing and I was wondering if granite guard would be sufficient in the cavity or as you say glue the termimesh to the brickwork and pour the slab.

Without seeing the site, I cannot say definitively, but it looks to me that you would parge the TM to your existing footings, assuming they are unbroken and in reasonable nick, and the new slab will butt up to them. Then pour slab, which captures the TM in the new slab, ensuring an unbroken 'seal'. Assuming the footings were a single pour, and quality is reasonable, that should work, but failing that, you should be able to parge to the brickwork as well.
But you will need to speak to the Termimesh guy on site to confirm.
Like I said, I can't tell you about other systems.
In an existing building, it's pretty hard to get a foolproof system with a mechanical barrier (like TermiMesh) IMO.
