Hi all,

Granny flat that is just open living with small bathroom.

Can I ask about the best thermal way to go about things? outside is weather text, then builders papers, and batts then what? Gyprock? Is that the best option? are there better ones than other or does it not make a difference?

As the ceilings will be raked I am thinking Gyprock Supaceil™ for the ceilingsregards

Kingspan do an insulated plasterboard. It is now avail in Australia. Price wise, you would have to give them a call.
Kingspan Insulation - Kooltherm K18, high performance roof insulation and wall insulation (http://www.kingspaninsulation.com.au/Products/Kingspan-Kooltherm/Kooltherm-K18-Insulated-Plasterboard/Overview.aspx)

As far as I know they don't sell direct, but through a network of dealers.
One of Kingspan's acquisitions when it moved into the Australian market was Aircell Kingspan Insulation - AIR-CELL Insulbreak®, 3-in-1 thermal break, insulation, and vapour barrier. (http://www.kingspaninsulation.com.au/Products/Kingspan-Air-Cell/AIR-CELL-Insulbreak/Overview.aspx)
Which is also an option on the outside of the frame, under weatherboards, cladding etc...
