I am about to replace the lawn alongside the house with something solid so I can store and move around the camper better/easier. I will also be excavating a small sloping area to increase the useable space. The area to be paved extends under the double side gate to abut the existing black concrete drive. Total area will be around 80-90 M2.
As the soil is expanding clay (I am in Adelaide after all!), I intend putting down at least 100mm road base first. The area will be driven on to park/remove/manouver the camper.
But the question of what to use arises. Should it be concrete, pavers or perhaps bitumen.
Costs are to be kept low, but not necessarily minimum to achieve a durable, long lasting, easy kept area.

Any suggestions?
