Howdy,
Non sparky asking advice:
Changing floor and skirting boards - in process of moving power points off the skirting boards and onto the walls. Obviously my sparky is going to do the wiring into the walls after I have rendered and re-white set - but I have some concerns regarding one of the power points:
88527
My concern is if it needs immediate attention or if it can wait for the sparky - I probably will not be getting him back until I drop the new floor in - maybe 6-8 weeks.
From what I can gather - the newer cable is part of the chain feeding to the power point.
One of the older cables feeds the power points in the next room.
The other older cable disappears into the brick cavity - to where it goes I have no idea (old light circuit?)
And finally the winner is an earth that disappears into the cavity.
Also - in effect - it would appear that the daisy chain of power points is a total of 8 in all on the one circuit - is that also acceptable or unacceptable? ie will I be making allowance for him to run an extra circuit from the board?
Thanks for any input.
Cheers
