Timber floors on existing pine floor boards?

Hi Guys we have Pine flooring in our kitchen which we polished a few years ago. Next to the kitchen in a concrete slab that has tiles on it. We are removing the tiles and want to use direct stick on Karri over the concrete and existing pine so that both floors have the same finish.
My question is can we go ahead and stick the Karri onto the existing pine floorboards?

what thickness is the flooring you are putting down? 12mm 19mm?
