Hi Guys (and Girls)

We are doing around 70 sqm compacted surface play area beside my (i like to use the word my, because the missus has less control over it!) workshop.
We had put down around 75mm of crushed rock down around a year ago, and compacted it. Thats been good for mud control.
Now time has come to do the final top. We are looking at Granitic Sand / Decomposed Granite, (but are open to Dromana or Tuscan Toppings). It'll be around 75-100m thick.
We've spoken to different suppliers, and they have different information (or even none at all) regarding cement stabilisation. I feel that it seems to be "safest" way to go. So we plan on
laying down 50mm of the Granitic Sand, compacting it, and then adding another 50mm over the top, then raking in off-white cement, little bit of water (for dust suppression) before compacting. And then a good amount of fine water spray over the top.

To cut a long story short
- what sort of rate could i expect to be putting on (ie: a 20kg bag every 5 sqm, a bag every 10 sqm)
- does the off-white cement actually lighten off the colour at all (which is actually what we would prefer)

The area won't have vehicle traffic on it normally, maybe once a month. Its a pretty flat area, and i live in Melbourne, so torrential Queensland pours a not expected.

Thanks in advance.
