Pay enquiry

Not sure if i am posting in the correct thread but here goes.
Could any of you plumbers out there give any advice on approx rate of pay for a fourth year apprentice plumber.
Can find awards via google but am wondering if market influences come in to play,

why not just ring up the union, they have a pay officer who can tell you strightaway, or look up state awards and work out the pay off that

I realise there is an award however i was wondering if employers adhered to that or if in the current market are people being paid more then that.

Haven't employed an apprentice for donkeys, but paying above the award, no way, maybe a bonus occasionally if they're doing stuff beyond the call of duty.
