I was almost going to put this in the OOOps Forum......but I actually would prefer an answer rather than the Point & Giggle.
Someone at our place.....whose name in not Noel...parked our car under a Black Wattle tree on a hot day.
The front & rear glass and the Boot & Bonnet have these clear drops of sap on them ....now set quite hard.
The removal from the glass was easy....one of those razor blade scrapers, but I'm a bit hesitant to use this method on the Duco.
Any thoughts or remedies???

Water, then more water then soapy water At least that is what my old neighbours in Northcote used back when we had plenty of water.

The car wash places have some pretty heavy duty cleaning product that may do the trick.

If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest removing the car from under the tree.

What-ever you use that works keep us informed. I can lend you an axe to remove the tree if you need one.

I washed the wife's car today, and she had a whole heap of spots all over it. Wouldn't move with carwash & warm water, and they laughed at the bug & tar remover.
I ended up using prepsol to get the bulk of the spot off, and finished with a bit of elbow grease & Meguiars paint cleaner (it's like a polish, but a bit harsher).
They're gone now, but I can't confirm what they are from, as she doesn't remember parking under trees anywhere.
