I have recently hung a wall cupboard to a cement renderd wall, the cupboard measures 1500mm long by 880mm high by 300mm deep, made out of veeneer board with 3 glass doors, I put green plugs in with 65mm srews and capped them, 3 in each corner and 3 in the middle, 9 in all I also put max bond cement on the wall before I scewed the cupboard on, my question is, is this suitable as the cupboard was quite heavy.
the cupboard sits approximatly 1500mm of the floor

G'day,
The shear strength of a 50mm countersink chipboard screw is 2000 kg's, they'll rip out of the chipboard long before they snap.

thx for that, do you think adding max bond to the cement render going over the top or not. the builder i did the job for says the render takes 3 weeks to cure,

its used in Commercial and Highrise Appartment jobs. Its a stud wall system that goes up pretty quick, faster and easier than timber.
