I'm replacing a pair of fixed lights (ie windows with no moving bits, just a pane of glass in a frame) in brick veneer, same opening as is.
Two questions:
1. If the sill flashing is in good condition - and it is 70s and looks to be - is there any reason to replace it? And it is currently Alcor, is that still the material to use?
2. Are there any better wedges than bits of timber shaved to fit? Anything easier to fit?
Cheers
