Hi guys,

I've haven't managed to find many reports on this deck finish - DECK-DOC premium timber and decking oil for durable, long-lasting protection. (http://www.deckdoc.com.au/)

It's a lanolin based product…

Be good to hear from anyone who has used this…

cheers

Used this stuff before which appears to be much the same Lanotec | products (http://www.lanotecaustralia.com.au/pages/products/timberseal) and it was very very good...

I've previously said Cutek CD50 is my next product of choice, but they being Geelong based (Moolap), I might just pay them a visit and keep my money very local.

The use of Lanolin as a UV protector, rather than coloured tint, looks like a winner to me.

be interested to see how it holds up. Every decking product makes out they are the next best thing. If anyone has used it and had it down for more than 1yr I'd love to see some pics

Anyone who has been out to Mungo National Park in Western NSW in the last five years and has walked the timber boardwalks out at the Walls of China can see how the Lanotec stands up to the environment and a bit of use.
