Renovating a 1980s home and will be replacing carpet on slab with Wormy Chestnut 130 x 19 t&g glued to slab to meet heights of lots of slate.

Slate finished surface is 25 mm above slab so will have to level up with a screed about 3mm to avoid trip edges. Any comments welcomed.

To level the floor you need a product like Ardex ARDEX AUSTRALIA (http://www.ardexaustralia.com/project_group.asp)

Thanks Goldie1, looks good but I'll take advice of floor layer but I've printed off Ardex Spec Sheet to show him.

Appreciate your advice though.
