Hi all
we are about to start renovating a down stairs laundry , shower and toilet and was wandering if pex hose and fittings could be used instead of 16mm copper pipe , copper would be a bit hard to get the bends we need without using fittings.
thanx in advance

Checkout sharkbite fittings they are great, specialised tools needed for PEX and they are expensive. Its worth buying the tool to cut the sharkbite ~$30 money well spent. You can get sharkbite connections to copper or the sharkbite pipe.

You can pull a tighter bend in 1/2" copper than you can in PEX

All I can say is , use what ever you are comfortable with. Word of warning with the copper to sharkbite fitting is not recommended joining onto old copper, as there may be imperfections in the copper tube.

Agreed, it cant be screw guage copper, it has to be 3/4 or 1/2 copper.
