Recently, I took out an old drill that I haven't used for 20 years. it is a Hitachi DTC-10 cordless. I charged it up, and it is going as good as it was 20 years ago. However, one of the problems I find with this drill is that it doesnt have any torque control for driving screws. I wonder if there is any retrofit chuck that comes with a clutch. That would be ideal. Any ideas?

I think you are out of luck; all modern cordless drivers have a separate clutch and chuck so there is no demand for the product you want. Look on the bright side - you can use this drill to drill screw holes and a newer drill to drive in the screws. Not changing drill bits is a major time saver!

Thanks, thats what I was expecting. Hopefully there might be a need some day. Quite often, it is cheaper to buy a new tool than retrofit an old one:)
