Hi guys Need some advice on vinyl planks. Have got a old T&G floor and are going to lay vinyl planks. Been told to put some sort of underlay down. Choices are CTU [been told plank glue dosen't stick to well?!] masonite[hard to source appantly] or plyboard. Any sugestions on what to use and thicknesses and whether to nail or nail and glue would be greatly apprieciated Any clues also on skirting planks first or after. thanks

6mm flooring grade plywood. Or similar. Masonite is also known as hardboard and is quite easy to get hold of.
Fit according to manufacturers instructions for the material in question.
Fit skirts after flooring.

:whs:You can use fc tile underlay its no different to glueing to concrete. Masonite flooring underlay is available at Bunnings in 1200 x 900 sheets

Masonite or plywood is what we were advised. We're going with masonite.
