Went to use some Liquid Nails yesterday that I bought about 6 mths ago, maybe 8 tops.
This was the Landscape variety, for brickwork etc.
It had turned to the consistency of Blu-tack....
Unopened tube by the way.

Had a quick squizz at the tube and couldn't see anything about shelf life or use-by date.
Is there a general rule of thumb for how long this stuff lasts, or...?
Would keeping it in the fridge prolong its life?

Just curious.

I used a 3yr old tube the other day. Bit darker than normal but worked ok

steer clear of the rapidset liquid nails, its crap IMHO. It was spec'ed by a WHSO on a commercial site a few years back as it is low Emissions or some crap, and it doesnt stick. Not as good as the original stuff.

That's odd.
This stuff wouldn't even squeeze out of the tube.

Must have been a dud batch.....

It was the standard variety. I have some of the landscaping stuff in the shed well over a yr old, I'll check it later to see where it's at. Watch this space
