The house we will be renovating had a huge vine growing up which we have killed. This has caused a crack about half an inch wide from the edge of the concrete verandah to the house wall. What is the best way to fix this. Many thanks for your advice.

There are concrete crack filling agents available, usually an acrylic modified concrete mix or sometimes a polyurethane or epoxy base - none will give you an invisible repair.

I think I've seen floor repair 'crete in the tiling aisle at Bunnies. If you want it invisible, your best bet is to tile over it (if you are sure it was the vine that caused it) or you might find that paint does a good enough camouflage job once the crack is taken care of.

Almost bet that crack is unrelated to the vine, but caused by movement of the house or the verandah or both. In any case it would best be filled using a closed cell foam backing strip covered with a flexible joint sealant suitable for concrete - one of the Sika products or Selley's or Fuller etc.
