G'day. How strange...my Name is Graham Day, so everybody calls me G Day for short....anyway i have a question.
I am doing a deck in 19x90 Merbau, and i am using decking screws.
I want toi keep a nice neat row of screws. I will be using two screws on each joist, but here is the question....when i have to join a bord over a joist
how do i keep the rows of screws in a uniform pattern?. I will end up having 4 screws at these points

What method should i use to avoid this?, Maybe glue one end down screw from underneath somehow? or use a no screw option here like Klevaklips?.
Anyone done this?.

Thanks from Sydney.

4 screws at end joints won't look out of place g'day.

Only other option is to buy set lengths and have no joins. Costs a little more but worth it IMO. Even if you join with four screws you won't notice it neither will anyone else.

I know a guy who mitres all his joins and still uses two screws to keep the continuous look... He's been doing it that way for years and to the best of my knowledge, not been called back to a job because of it...
