Hi All,
I am installing a new drop in stainless steel sink into a engineered stone bench top. The install instruction suggest a bead of silicone sealant in addition to the foam seal that came with the sink,
This sounds a bit messy so I am after some tips on the best way to do this neatly.
Thanks
Neal

Its not that messy, just have plenty of paper towels on hand and the recommended solvent, usually turps for wet-area silicone. Have a test fit to make sure all the retaining clips work, then lay a thin bead right on the edge of the sink cut-out. Drop the sink in and try not to move it around too much while you do up the clips; having a 2nd person to hold the sink in place helped me. Once the sink is screwed down per the instructions, just wipe up the excess silicone with solvent wetted wipes. If you screw the sink down properly, you won't see any silicone after you have wiped off the excess.
