Hey,
I have just finished laying a 60sqm of prefinished floating floor, everything is fine but in the entrance area, it is lifting to high off the concrete slab, the area is about 1.2x1.2 i checked the level of it before i layed the underlay and floor and all looked fine.

My problem is when we step on the problem area, it feels like their is a bubble under the floor and i am worried that the flooring will crack after a while.

what i would like to know is is their any way i can push a tube inder the floor and squirt some compound in to stop the flooring from moving ?

If your floor is level then the problem shouldn't be there....the only other reason why it would be lifting there would be if the entry is connected to a hallway which leads to the rest of the floor area, i.e you may have an expansion issue and it's easiest way to release the pressure is to pop up in the entry.

If it isn't expansion issue then your floor wasn't flat, hopefully your entry is separate to the rest of the floor and so it wouldn't be that much drama and $ to pull it out and fix the floor.
