Hi,
I have been trying to create a new thread, but can't attach an image. When I go into "Manage Attachments" and "Upload file from your computer" I get a message "This is not a valid image file".
I am sure the file is fine. It is a 35kb jpg file, 440x414 pixels, 72 dpi resolution.
My "Posting Rules" say I may attach images.
I have successfully uploaded it to the Woodwork Forum website, so the problem appears to be at the Renovate Forum website. Can anyone help?

I had a similar problem the other night when trying to upload an image for an avatar. No matter the image size, format, etc, I would always get the "Invalid File" message.
Must be something wrong with the forum.

I'm having exactly the same problem at the moment, and it's driving me nuts!! Have previously posted photos taken on the same camera and saved the same way and had no problems.
Does anyone know if there is someone we can contact (administrator?) who can sort out the glitch?

Mornin' GOM,
Yep its true we are having a glitch at the moment.
I reported it to the computer guru yesterday, and they are working on it.
I'll let you know when its all fixed.

Hi guys,
Have sent an email to Neil (Senior Administrator) asking about how we report a technical issue for investigation. Hopefully we can get it sorted out.

Mornin' again,
I found one way we can get around the problem until its fixed.
The software will accept and upload pdf files.
I just put a pic into a pdf file and up it went.
I'm on a Mac which allows you to save stuff to a pdf file, don't know about how you do that on a normal pc.
Here's an example. Just an interim measure until its fixed.

Thanks Watson,
I converted my file to pdf using Adobe Photoshop. I've now successfully posted a new thread ("Help with design for fire bunker" in the Brickwork, Concreting Forum).
Thanks for your help
