I am restumping my old Queenslander, I have the water level sorted and acro props on way but would like recomendations on the best way to remove the old ones?

the professionals jack the house above the stump until its about 20 mm clear of the weight above then they use a kanga or similar and drill another peir in front of the stump then chain it clear of the house and pull it out

Does your council require a permit and Civil engineers report approval for this?
Without proper bracing while doing the job, the house can skew and fall to the ground.

Usually pretty safe if you do a few stumps at a time. Pick one bearer, but acrows between each stump on that bearer and jack up, kanga hammer each stump into manageable pieces and replace them.
