Applying Textured Paint

I have a textured dry product that you mix with normal paint. Is there a trick to applying it or the roller you need to use?

I have done one coat but it doesnt look even and you can see roller marks.

A bit hard to help if you don't tell us the product details,also have you spoken to the product supplier about application tips?

It's called roll-a-tex and I have had a look at their website but it doesnt give any pointers.

I thought perhaps there was a generic tip for textured paint application.

No matter I just changed my roller and that helped..
