removing render from chamferboard?

anyone got any experience getting old render off an even older hardwood chamferboard exterior wall? Looks like chicken wire was nailed on first then the render applied ?

I thought about it with my Buranda house, but decided against it. You may find that the render covers a lot of botched alterations and that you are making more work for yourself than you can imagine. That was certainly my experience when I looked more closely at the inside of my house ...
