G'day mates,
Just joined the forum, finally, after a few years of picking out the odd tip for the minor tasks I had to tackle in my last home. Our recently purchased 1910 weatherboard home makes a strong case for more concerted handyman attention, so I figured it was time to join your ranks properly and pay closer attention.
So far I've been particularly attentive to the threads on box gutters (getting a bit of a vibe on those), wall cavity insulation, soakwells, guttering and ridge caps (to help my brother). But over time, I expect to get to all the other threads and ultimately, if I manage to botch enough of the jobs, I'll start on the one about demolition.
Thanks to all for the great threads. Looking forward to getting into some myself.
Cheers
Mike (Perth)
