scribed timber fillet

Have not done much by way of trying to cut and fit a scribed fillet to a timber barge under a tiled roof, what is the best way to approach it to ensure a tight and accurate look (using 140X12 meranti

I usually make up a template using 3mm mdf ,once you are happy transfer it to your timber!

:whs: - use any cheap relatively light timber to get the pattern and then cut and transcribe to your real piece. Meranti on a barge though? Will rot out and fast as well as being expensive - use treated pine or a good stick of hardwood.
