We bought the place with this custom (home) built shade house the previous owners used to grow orchids in. As you can see by the photos, I use it as a place for junk!
It's very solid.
Have looked at a few prefab colorbond sheds of a similar size and in my opinion they are a bit flimsy, despite their $1500 price tag!

I can get miniorb or colorbond corrugated iron in custom lengths at wholesale price... so I was considering enclosing the shade house frame with it and the roof as well.

reckon it would work and be as good as a McShed flat pack version? Will put in a slab and power etc.

Very interesting, and I am not wanting to hijack your post, but I am in exactly the same position / decision process but on a bigger scale......

Any thoughts, comments or advice would be greatly appreciated....

It's very strong, surprisingly! It cant be any weaker than the prefab sheds with no frame work at all.

Looking at the pics the frame has sagging, but maybe with a few extra frame you might get away with it. I would suggest you would be better of buying a shed kit, because by the time you put extra frames in then buy some sort of cladding it would cost nearly as much as a whole kit.
