Hi all
May as well post this which is features in most battery ads
Please don't use Makita DC18RA DC18RB DC18RC Rapid Battery Charger to charge our battery. The high current charging will damage the battery.
I have not found any statements other than the warning messages posted

After Googling "Please don't use Makita DC18RA DC18RB DC18RC Rapid Battery Charger to charge our battery. The high current charging will damage the battery." to understand a bit more, I also came across:

"All our products are guaranteed to meet or exceed OEM(original) specifications backed by full 1 year warranty guarantee and 30 days money back guarantee!" (My emphasis.)
It would seem they "meet or exceed OEM specifications" except for the charging specification!

I think this is in relation to aftermarket batteries from a certain store on a auction based internet site.!!! You can't put their batteries in the standard charger (DC18RC) which i think is the one you get with most trade quality kits in OZ.

As for how you charge your "new" batteries, errr don't know...???:C
