What do I use in between flashing and stucco?

Hi all

I am still doing repairs to the house after the Brisbane floods.

We have brick half way up the house and then stucco. In between the two, is some steel flashing.

There must have been some sort of filler/silicone in between the flashing and the stucco which has decayed ... what do I replace it with? Just "exterio silicone"?

Using a silicon based product can cause problems as not much will stick to it, I use sikaflex or non silicon based caulking compounds.
