Thread: Newbie Pool Question 2

Another question we have is about cleaning. We have been told that the best method is everything from in-floor jets to robot cleaners to no cleaner at all, but having a high-low return system and a decent flow of pump and that with that setup most rubbish will go into the skimmer automatically and everything left can be easily removed with a manual vacuum. Any ideas/experience?

what sort of pool are you putting in and how big?

We are looking most likely at a concrete pool, approx 8m x 4m and about 1.8 m deep at the deepest point. There will be a few overhanging tree branches that we can't do much about.

Each pool builder is possibly going to push the products they stock, or can make the bigger profit from. My advise would be to ask each of them for the names and contacts of two or three previous clients, so you can ring them up and ask about experiences.
