    Default G'day from Margate, TAS

Hi all. I have been spending a lot of time reading these forums lately and picking up heaps of good advice. I am continually fixing up thinks around the home and currently am renovating my kitchen. Cheers Andy

Hi Dazzler - I agree - except for the traffic in the morning. I enjoy the peace and quiet of the bush except for the noise in the kitchen at the moment as I am removing cork tiles from the kitchen (concrete) floor with a piece of 1 inch steel sharpened to a chisel point. Been into it a week now after work and should be finished next week. Bugger of a job!!! Plan is to get a concrete grinder in to grind and level the floor before i put down overlay tas oak flooring. The rotten builders who built the house managed to get the corner of the kitchen slab 25mm out of level. not sure if this would be too much for floor leveling cement or if I would have to concrete or cement it first to build it up.
