    Default Hey all

Hey all, I'm Scott, and have finally gotten myself into a house I'm allowed to play around with I'm a qualified sparky, so needless to say all light fittings are now new, with a few handy power points around the joint added. Not too shabby on the other tools, but never afraid to ask for help!

Quick question to start with, can someone point me in the right direction to putting down a packed driveway. i'm looking to turn a bit of the back yard into some decent parking space ( none available up front, decent size backyard) and was looking for a few pointers on where to start.

    Cheers,
    Scott

By the time you've done something decent to stabilise the old Paddy's River granite (and you can put up with it getting in your car anyway) you're at the point where a 25mm layer of asphalt is looking good. Personally, unless it was for real occasional use only, I'd bite the bullet and put down asphalt as it needs so much less maintenance!
