I want to know how it got there in the first place - don't you build your frame before raising it into position? Saves mucking about with skewnailing to the bottom plate ...
I have to confess it was me posting using Moondog's computer, and I did not know it last night, that the builder actually PUT it there after the wall was built so he could stand on it.Sort of takes the humour out of it, but I did get a ton of laughs at work over it and i was snickering all day.
Black Cat...no way we could have built the studwork and then raised it up. Old commission house, small space, and meticulous, perfectionist chippie who had to make sure it was all plumb and square so he skewnailed it. Thank heavens for a nail gun and compressor!
