    Question Selang batau decking finish required

    My husband made our deck of Selang Batau ( I think because its cheap). Its well and truely settled now and I'd like to finish it!

    What finish do I use on Sealng Batau? I like the oiled look but have baby twins that have just started eating and Im worried it will be easily marked by food. we live in the tropics so does that make a difference?

    I have only just discovered this webpage and this is my first posting. Thanks for any advice coming my way.

    Hi bernie and welcome to the forum, Feast Watson Deckoil is fine to use. 3-4 coats , easly applied by roller.
