Default Extending house on Timber deck

I have plans approved by an engineer and council to build an extension on my current timber deck, the deck is supported by 90 X 90 treated pine posts. I'm just about to start erecting the walls and wanted to get some thoughts on the timber posts. Does anyone think the support maybe a bit lacking??

If its been approved by an engineer and the council, why would you think the supports would be lacking?

Only thing i'd be thinking is how old are the posts and what kind of timber as you are investing more money on putting stuff on top of an old floor structure.. you wouldn't have termite protection either if its 4x4's into the ground
