    Default Re-stumping

Hi just wondering what the going rate is to re-stump an average house of about 70 stumps. Does anybody know what the rate is per stump?? We are on in Melbourne East. Thanks for any help.

Will depend a lot on the access but say 6000 to 10000 imo

ours has 90 od so stumps and quotes went from 5000 to 10000, in Melbourne
Better check, it may not just be the stumps, some joists and bearers may be gone as well.
    Would not recommend our guy.
Ask if they can show some of their former jobs.
Check underneath your house, your existing stumps may not be where walls are, we had two in the middle of the bathroom doing nothing, wall - no stumps. Restumper may just swap old for new stumps. They are as smart as the ones that built our house (
If you want to do your floors too, may be a good time to rip them out so the restumper has better access.
