    Default baltic pine floorboards

    Hi everyone,

we are going to knocking down most of our house (its a single fronted weather board) over xmas and the new year and are wanting to know if anyone has advice on what to do with the 150mm floorboards. I wish to sell them. They would be as old as the house (over 80 years i think).

If anyone is interested I am more than happy if they want a look. They are still down as we are living here for a few more weeks. They wouldn't be available til mid to late Jan.

Also the old skirting boards etc are going (230mm high)

Do these second hand timber places come and remove timber and pay for it?

    Thanks for listening.

How thick are the boards? Standard 22mm or are they 19mm or 28mm?

    occi,

I would say they are 22 or 19 mm. I will be popping one of the already cut ones and will let you know the exact size.

There are quite a few as the house is approx 5 meters wide with 2 bedrooms, lounge and kitchen all floorboards.

Ultimately would like someone to take them off my hands when we are ready for them to come up. Should be round the middle of January.

Its just an option. I was going to reuse them for one room and passage but we have decided to use a different style. The last thing I want to do is just put them in a skip for the tip or put them on ebay and stuff around with people who are not happy with the way the were pulled up etc etc.

The boards are no longer available. They have been removed.

    Thanks for all your interest.
