Default Getting dents ou of Pine flooring

    Hi

The floor in our house is of a softwood, probably pine, they have never been sealed and have dents where the furniture once sat. Does anyone know of the method of getting these dents out? Apparently there is a method.

Hi Possum, To get the dents out you can try to drip water into the dents, let it sit and then take a damp cloth over the dent and rest a warm iron on it for a few minutes. This will pump moisture into the crushed wood fibers and should help. May have to do it a few times if the dents are deep.
