Default Staining Pine before Spa n Deck

Hi all, I am trying to get a piece of pine to look as dark as my Merbau fence which is coated in Spa N deck Jarrah.
Is it possible to put a stain on to darken the pine before applying the Spa N Deck or is there another product that will darken the pine and protect it ? I am not using treated pine for this..

do a search in "decking" as there was a thread on that using a mix of merbau stain and another stain.

or check back tomorrow as my photos will be up as I stained my treated pine today.

cheers
