Default Alternative to plastering a walll

I have a new brick venner house and would like to know what are the other alternatives to plastering a wall is there. maybe wood? thanks.

Can I ask why you want another lining type? Is it cost, asthetics, or performance, etc.?

There are many different lining options available, but most are purpose designed for specific applications and normally used in specific areas not an entire home.
