Help please!
I have little bumps all over my walls. I am not sure if it is a type of plaster or wall paper, but I can't scape it off and it has been painted over.
I attached some photos. I would like to scrape it off somehow and I don't mind if the walls underneath are not perfect as I am going for a rustic look.

I can't afford a plasterer!

Not seeing the photos as they need to be 100kb As long as you know where all the services are and the bumps are not covering electric wires plumbing knock off bumps with a hammer and chisel then check into Rods site for patching tips.
You can patch big holes using sand and plaster ( hardwall plaster 50/50) This hardens quite quick then use a gyprock base coat troweled smooth. Then topping coat after that.Next day sand back.

I'm not sure if its the same thing but when we moved in we had a decorative finish over the solid plaster walls in the lounge room. It gave it a very subtle render look, which had been painted over.

We were told it was kalsomite which could be washed off with a wet hessian bag, but it didn't prove that easy. It may have been sealed with something because it was painted over. We went at it with a sander but it quickly clogged, so had to strip the paint and sand and sand and sand again. I was a hard, messy job and the final result was far from good because we had rush.

But without a picture its hard to tell if its the same stuff. Hope not for your sake!

If so we really need a photo, as I would think building materials and methods could be different in Spain to australia.

It could be caused by any number of things, I am not going to speculate here as there are so many different remedies for different issues.

Agree celeste we really need to see what it is or at least get a better description before offering any credible advise.
