Removing caulk from hands

Hi,

Just thought I'd share this since it worked well for me.

After caulking or re-caulking, inevitably caulk will get on your hands. Rub your hands on a plastic bag to loosen up the semi dried caulk, and then wash clean.

Hope that saves typing with caulky hands like I had to do before.

....and when washing, sprinkle some sugar on soapy hands to remove any residue. Works well on greasy hands after working on the car etc. I always keep a jar of sugar in the garage as it stops any dirty handprints on the kitchen sugar jar. Used to keep a jar in the work ute too!!

I just use the disposable rubber gloves from the supermarket - pack of 100 for about $7. Good for lots from painting and caulking to rebuilding whipper snipper engines and working with epoxy. No good with solvents - use nitide gloves in that case.

Avoids the need of having to clean the hands.....scatching your head after playing with polyurethane sealant is another matter......:doh:
