Default concrete strip driveway?

this is my driveway
I don't like it at all
It's relatively flat however the previous owner must have had an inability to drive in a straight line as it curves in the middle.
2 months ago I arranged for some quotes to be done and much like the fencing quotes they never materialised so I done it myself.
From the garage to the gate theres already 2 concrete strips so I was thinking I could just continue this all the way down the driveway.
questions:
1.do i need reo under this?
2.how deep should it be? the existing section is approx 60mm deep
3.do i need to consult with council in anyway because I'm going across the footpath? (there are no concrete footpaths on my side however)
4.am I better price & skillwise to pave it? (I've done paving enough before)

G'day DMS,

1&2. Yes, if you're going to drive on it you should use mesh and make it 100mm deep.
3. Not sure about the council, but I wouldn't bother.
4. I think the concrete would be better - cheaper (guessing here), less likely to get movement problems, and you've done some paving so it'd be good to try something new.

Cheers,
Adam

You could always give me a call if you want it done by a qualified tradesman that will actually turn up for a quote.
